# Edit a contact

Here are the steps to edit a contact for a particular entity.

**Step 1:**                                                                                                                                                                                 Go to the navigation panel and choose the 'Clients' option.                                                                                                                                                                                             &#x20;

**Step 2:**                                                                                                                                                                                            Within the client's section, go to the contacts tab. This will show up on the list of contacts.

**Step 3:**                                                                                                                                                                              To edit a contact, select the contact you want to edit and then click on the 'edit' option.

**Step 4:**                                                                                                                                                                                             Make the necessary changes according to your requirements, and then click 'update' to save the updated data.
